Woman with Azaleas

Sharps Toffee Tin 1950’s

This is a very nice Sharp’s toffee tin that is in first class condition for its age.

The picture on the front is of a woman looking through an Azalea.  The colours are a lovely green with soft peach tones.  All around the sides it is decorated with a floral frieze.   Dating from the 1950’s This tin is quite unusual in the fact that it must have been produced just after the death of George Vi and just prior to Elizabeth II coming to the throne as it has “By Appointment to the late King George VI” on the side.

Measures 5” x 3 ¾” it is unusually clean and free from rust.
