We hope you have enjoyed your visit to Vintage Wants. Please take the time to read our terms and conditions below.  If you

have any queries please do not hesitate to email us, we are on online regularly and will come back to you with an answer as soon as we can. Like all vintage items there will be signs of wear  and tear that we find charming but others may not. If you would prefer an item to be in perfect condition perhaps this site is not for you. We will always give a clear and concise description of our items and where possible list its faults as well as its beauty. If you have any questions about an item please email us first and we will be only too happy to provide further information.

 

Postage & Packing

 

Postage costs quoted include handling and packaging. Where possible we will use recycled materials. The costs quoted are for UK customers only. If you live outside the UK and are interested in one of our items please e-mail us for accurate postage costs. We will always combine postage and packing on multiple sales.

 

Paying By Paypal

 

A Paypal account allows you to pay using funds from your own account or to use funds from your debit/credit card. You will need to already have an account or set one up to use this method. If you choose to pay using Paypal an invoice will be sent to you using the e-mail address that you give to us on your order form. You can then use your Paypal account to pay the invoice online. Upon receiving notification of your payment we will despatch your purchase and send you a confirmation e-mail to advise that the item is on its way.

 

Other Methods of Payment

 

If you are in the UK you may pay by either cheque or postal order. We will advise you of the name and address to send the cheque to once we receive the order. Please allow 5-7 days for your cheque to clear, once cleared we will confirm that your item has been posted. Unfortunately if you’re outside the UK we are unable to take personal cheques but you can of course use Paypal.

 

Delivery

 

Where items have been paid for through Paypal or uncrossed Postal Order the item will be dispatched the same day or the next

available working day. Items that are paid for by cheque or crossed Postal Order will be sent out the next available working day

after the cheque has cleared.

 

Postage

 

We use the Post Office and Parcel Force for all our deliveries. We always obtain certificates of posting for all our parcels that we send out and if a parcel should get lost in the post we will always assist you to claim for the item by sending you the relevant proof of postage but unfortunately we will not be able to pursue the claim for you. All items are sent uninsured. If you require additional insurance please let us know in the comments box and we will advise the additional costs for this service. When sending items outside the UK we always use airmail as we find this is a safer option – it takes less time and so there are fewer chances that an item will go astray.  We will send the items out 1st and 2nd Class, Standard Parcels and Parcel Force. Please note that delivery times may vary due to postal services in your area but rest assured we will do our utmost to ensure that your items get to you as quickly as possible.

 

Returns

 

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase. Returns will only be accepted if an item has been grossly misinterpreted.

In exceptional circumstances we might agree to the return of an item but please contact us first. Any items accepted for return will be refunded using a cheque less any and all costs incurred throughout the original sale plus the costs of the postage and packing. In theevent that we should grossly misrepresent an item a full refund including postage and packing will be issued.
