VICTORIAN “ROSES” CHINA DISH STRAINER

Pretty china dish strainer which is so typical of its time late 1800’s early 1900’s dark green edge with paler green fading to cream inner and pretty roses in shades of pink.   Gold is outlined around the fluted edge.  The edge of the dish also has some pretty detailing.

Dish stands on three ball scroll feet and measures 9 ½” around.    There is crazing to the glaze and some staining to the china which I feel is commensurate with age but no cracks or chips.  There is no markers name on the base.

This would look great on your shabby chic or country cottage kitchen dresser or table used to keep fruit in.
